If you love me, won't you let me knooow

After a few listen it turns out I really like Violet Hill. It's not the change I anticipated and was a little worried about.I really like the end when it's slower and lovely Chris is all quiet and mellow. The lyrics are pretty good as well. It's not Yellow, Politiks or Fix You but the song is still good.I can't wait for the new album :D:D

Was a long and dark December
From the rooftops i remember
There was snow
White snow
Clearly i remember
From the windows they were watching
While we froze down below
When the future's architectured
By a carnival of idiots on show
You'd better lie low

If you love me
Won't you let me know?

Was a long and dark December
When the banks became cathedrals
And the fog
Became God
Priests clutched onto bibles
And went out to fit their rifles
And the cross was held aloft
Bury me in honor
When i'm dead and hit the ground
A love back home unfolds

If you love me
Won't you let me know?

I don't want to be a soldier
With the captain of some sinking ship
With snow, far below

So if you love me
Why'd you let me go?

I took my love down to violet hill
There we sat in snow
All that time she was silent still

So if you love me
Won't you let me know?
If you love me,
Won't you let me know?

Also I have tickets for the Radiohead concert in Montreal this summer.I'm very excited about this. Open air concert on a small island.fun fun fun

i looove the guitar solo in the middle.
it doesn't seem very commercial though, I would have thought they'd have it as the opening track with that intro.
But they obviously know what their doing!
I'm still anxious about the latin influence on other songs, cannot WAIT for this album!
Ooh radiohead should be amazing! lucky lady.
